Villa Iceberg at Kalamaki Village

Villa Iceberg has a bright and airy living area decorated in earthy colors with beautiful comfortable furniture. Along with large relaxing balconies, there is a private pool on the property and the beach is just a few steps away. The open kitchen has all the comforts such as oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and tea / coffee making facilities.

We also provide a baby cot and high chair upon request. The living room is comfortable and has a TV and fireplace if you stay in winter and want to relax inside. Four extra large comfortable bedrooms can accommodate 8 people. Three bedrooms have large double beds and the fourth bedroom has twin beds. There are 2 modern large bathrooms with large showers, one of which is a spa / bathtub.

Spacious and centrally located Villa Iceberg is situated in the center of the picturesque village of Kalamaki, a beautiful coastal fishing village in the south of Crete. The Villa is located just 20 meters away from the beautiful sandy beach.

Kalamaki is a small village on the beach and located 60km southwest of Heraklion city . The beach has blond sand and the seabed has a long smooth rock, quite slippery. Large waves that are usually caused by the northwest winds, combined with the rocky bottom, make it difficult to access the beach sometimes. In front of the village, the beach is well organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, taverns, rooms, lifeguard, playground, water sports, etc. Very near to Kalamaki there are many others beaches and you can walk to them , which some are organized and others are unorganised. About 10 klm from Kalamaki there is the Matala village which is very famous for the history of hippies. For sure Kalamaki village is a very quiet place for relax….
